It's not old (I assume so anyway), I actually found it on the surface of a creek bed today when I managed to get 30 minutes of free time to test out my new 'nox 800. It looks very familiar to me but I just can't recall it. Anyway, not the bullets on the right (good haul of moderns for 30 mins) but the hoe (no, calm your girl down) looking thing on your left.

Almost looks like part of a jack stand, but I kinda doubt it.

It kind of does, but definitely not. It's quite thin, probably a bit less than 1/8th of an inch.

I should have given it scale. The main "body" (the square-ish part of it) is roughly 2.75" square(-ish) and it's 4" from tip to bottom.

That's it! I knew I had seen it before but total brain fart. Thanks! I guess my title was correct :) Still a good 30 minutes out with my new Nox 800 :) Thanks @Audozer!

I knew what it was but just couldn't remember. It's like when you walk into a room, pause, then think, why did I come in here again?
