Not sure what this is, but I found it at a farm that dates to the 1700s. I think it's decoratove, brass, and about 2" long and .5" diameter. It reminds me of one of those pieves of beard jewelry Vikings wore. I doubt that's what this is, though. Did they put things like that in horse manes? I know they did horse racing at this farm.
