Looking out my kitchen window I noticed a little spot up at the top. Got up close and could see tiny eggs! My daughter took some pictures. We're going to watch and see what hatches :D. We think maybe moth(?) eggs and little "wormies" will probably develope ::). Here's some pictures~~~

Nice pictures. I have no clue what could have laid eggs on your window. Just let us know what happens.

Strikes me that it , what ever it is, wants to take advantage of the warmth coming through the window.

you're probably right about that Urban Prospector! I just hope all the rain we're getting right now doesn't wash the eggs away so we can see what they turn into.

They are very similar to frog eggs we see stuck under lily pad leaves at the local pond. Can't imagine what could walk up a window and lay eggs other than a snail.

We've watched Cecropia moths and other kinds of moths lay eggs on our door. But this was a cool spot for something to lay the eggs because we could get a "see through" shot of the eggs.
These may not be moth eggs at all but some other kind of bug :icon_scratch:. We'll just have to wait and see. Its something fun for the kids to watch and study :icon_study:.

I'm enjoying it from a couple thousand miles away. Thanks for sharing. The moths I'm familiar with here are underground grub in the larval stage but I've never thought about the egg stage.

These things seem to be developing right before our eyes. Look at the egg in the upper left hand corner--it looks like a curled up worm. The bottom eggs are starting to get darker, too. Here's more pictures~~

Can you tell we were bored and stuck in the house today with all this rain :tongue3:?!
How much did ya get over at Ponca? We had a little over 2 inches here in Pawhuska and the creeks are rolling!
Can't wait to go arrowhead hunting ! and do some metal detecting--this moisture will make my detector pick up really good!

Very good close ups of those eggs. I'm curious to hear what they turn out to be.

Yes they are still there :D. But there's only 4 or 5 that look like they have something in them :icon_scratch:.
We'll take more pictures this evening to see if its any different.
How funny is this-- watching bug eggs hatch? :tongue3:

Do we has frogs?
Nothing yet! And there's only 5 eggs that have anything in them. The rain may have messed up the development of the other eggs.
Thanks plehbah!
