May be walking stick eggs. They lay eggs in very odd places.

Sorry, I was wrong on the name of those lizards, they're called anoles. Check them out here; http://www.anolebook.com/picts/Pensacola anole article.pdf .....NGE
Thanks for the link, NGE! I thought you were just pulling my leg when you said "nole". I'd never heard of one of those ;D. I'm anxious to see what these turn out to be.

BTW sandcreek, I haven't seen if they lay eggs or give live birth anywhere.......NGE

If the anole is considered an amphibian, I bet they lay eggs.
I still think these eggs belong to some kind of bug.
Thanks NGE!!!

Krissi73 and 4-H staff--nothing ever came out of them :(. I don't know if all the rain we've had messed up their development or if its just gonna take longer :icon_scratch:. Its kinda dissapointing to us because we've been watching them everyday and nothing has changed. If for some reason they do hatch, we'll be sure and post a picture!

Have you looked at the eggs from outside? I cant really tell in the pictures but it looks like some of them have openings on the other side. Could they have already hatched and the ones left are the ones that didnt make it?

Hey TennesseeGal--we'll go outside and try to take a picture tomorrow. In the group of eggs, it looked like only 5 of them had anything in them. The others didn't develope at all and the ones that had little larvae in them just keep getting blacker. So, I'm not sure if any of these things have lived through all this rain and cool weather we've been having in Oklahoma. We'll post another pic. tomorrow. Thanks to everyone who's been interested in this .

Damn good close ups. Makes me want a better camera than what I have.
Thanks TAKODA!
Here's some pictures from today(5/11/09)---taken on the outside of the window. I think TennesseeGal was right about some of them having openings on the outside. They may have hatched without us knowing :( :-\. I feel bad about that because I know everyone wanted to see what came out of these little things! Sorry guys and gals, we tried!

I just got back from an 8 Day gad about, about day 5 I woke up nervous about missing out on your eggs hatching. Go figure, 800 miles from home travailing with my 89 yo Dad and I'm worried about bug eggs in Oklahoma.
It could be that the open eggs are the ones not making it or eaten by a predatory rival. I'll keep checking back on em. Best regards, Urb.

Bless your heart, Urban Prospector----It don't take much to entertain us, huh? ;D ;D
Hope you had a good time with your dad and enjoyed your travels!

We'll keep watching--maybe the ones that are left will still hatch out.
