Found this coin in about 6 inches of water in a texas river. It was in a pothole with various lead weights and US clad coins. Can't be 1809, because they didn't make them then. Maybe an inverted 6 to a 9. Anyone know?
I haven't figured out how to reduce the pictures from this camera so I cropped the edges out, need some help there too.

solved -- its a 1869 --8 reale * your "0" is really a odd "6" -- it was made in the San Luis Potosi mint -- who's mint mark is the big P with little I -- the mint "inspectors" were P. & S. ----weight 27.07 grams --. 903 pure silver ---actual pure silver weight is (ASW) .7859 of a troy oz.

Thanks, I'm new at posting, as you can see. Can't figure out how to make the pictures smaller. I've got a pile of gold rings to show that I've found in the last 3 years.
