Sometimes it only takes 1 or 2 pics to tell the story.

Clad park, found, guess what?

Clad:

They don't tell the entire story though. I was pretty happily digging today
and tired but content. I was deciding whether to keep swinging or call it a day.

I said, "Lord, I'm ready for my exit find. So, I'll hunt a bit longer. But, if you can see your way clear to
help me find a ring. ANY ring, junk, good, whatever and I will check the area around the hole just in case, turn off my machine and call
it a day.

That's when I found this.

Welp, guess what I did? I turned off my machine and went home. LOL

Thanks for peeking!

Well, today I was specifically working the nickle signals. Just wanted to see how it worked.
But, those blessed quarters kept getting in the way! ;) LOL

Thanks!

I do the same thing.

Sometimes I ignore nickle signals, and sometimes I seek them out as a focus (hoping for gold).

I've found that I can generally tell a nickle from a pull tab by consistency.... (still doesn't help much with the yellow stuff).

One thing ya gotta keep in mind. It makes it difficult to find something when it isn't there. ;)

Nice job on your finds. looks like you got some gas money.

If I went to Clad Park and found that, tomorrow I would go to Gold Park and......

Ummmm, the next time you feel like going to Gold Park? Call me! I'll drop everything and come RIGHT up! ;)

Congrats on the clad,,, you never know what your going to find... :occasion14:

just keep plugging away, it will come (of course that is what I keep telling myself LOL)

That's awesome.

I've been known to send a few prayers up myself. I found an Indian Head penny once the same way. It's an awesome feeling.

Congrats.

You got to go out and detect today at least ! I didn't had to drive people around etc. Nuff said =)

You got a three in one deal! Awesome! Blingie must be thrice as happy!
That's a good amount of clad! Congrats!

The last time I ask for a ring...He sent me a plastic one! Lol! I think I could hear gales of laughter too.
Nickels for me may mean jewelry but small gold is going to read foil....guess what I have a rather large collection of? Yep!
You know how the detectors never lie, well after about the 40th piece of foil, I said to the M6, "I hope your wrong this time!" .....no, it wasn't. I know there is gold in this field, somewhere among the iron rest the gold I seek! I will just have to keep searching, and digging foil! Lol! One of these days, one of these days.......

Yes, by simple laws of long term probability. You WILL, eventually find gold.

But, there are a lot of graves of '49ers who made the very self same prediction. They would've found it too.
If their lives had been as long as the long term needed. They would be armed with detectors and walking the
same fields as you.

We HAVE to believe that we are going to find! We HAVE to, otherwise, what's the use? So, we go merrily along and
satisfy ourselves on the times where we don't, with the "gold" we find every single time we go out. The outdoors,
the hunt, sometimes camaraderie. Yes, we have "gold" every time. As far as the "other" gold? It's a goal that's
rare enough to keep us going out.

Just keep in mind, it makes it difficult to find, when something just isn't there. ;)

At least the parks/school grounds/ etc. are getting cleaner and THAT is yet another kind of "gold". ;)

Thanks!

Hey Yall ! Clad buys Gold , ' eventually ' And it buys Silver Almost instantly .
but
It's much better to find it First.

All my find's are Blessings from the Lord.
Good to see you have Faith.

Davers

Yep, I suppose the clad could be buying something besides batteries. But, that's too much like investing. ;) LOL

I also know of blessings. I don't see myself as being lucky, more like blessed. :) I always try to just let Him lead me around by the coil
of my detector. I always seem to do so much better when I stay out of his way. :)

Thanks!

Awesome finds! you got your next set of batteries. LOL

Great words of wisdom.

It's always good to remember to keep the proper perspective on things.
We all have much to be thankful for regardless of the treasures we may or may not find.
The journey is half the fun anyway.
