Been below freezing every day for almost a month, and below zero at night. 40 degrees today, did not find a thing, but it felt good to get in the woods where you CAN still dig:laughing7: 0120181121.webp0120181124.webp0120181122.webp.......... I am over Winter!

So are you looking for meteor pieces? I'm getting out tomorrow with some Tnet members for a 4 hour a group hunt.

It's been like that here too. Unseasonably cold for my area.
We get cold like this but it usually doesn't last this long.
The last few days have finally warmed up to 40s and 50s but I tried to hunt Saturday and the ground is like concrete. It was only a few places in the woods that you could dig.
If the weather stays like this, it won't be long now.

The snow began thawing on Friday here in Northern Ohio since it got up to 39, yesterday it continued and I went out with Fuzzy today to detect at an old honey hole, Ground thawed but soaked, so we did an out of the way site. Fuzzy is getting back into it, so he did not dig much, more ore less swung the coil over the target in multiple directions trying to understand the target ID's. I managed to eke out a silver Rosie and a handful of clad and a few tokens.

right on! im about as rusty as some the pennies i found!! Still had a good time. its an awesome spot for learning what the machine trying to tell me. good mix of targets from trash to silver. Practice, practice , practice. Thanks Loco for taking the time to set me straight on a few things! lesson of the day...less thinking and more digging! Got to work on my pinpointing and plug digging too, though some holes could have used a sump pump! but ground was very forgiving and easy to dig. You had some impressive find my friend! well i was impressed anyway!

......but a pretty pic. all the same Windman. Maybe the snow will melt away soon so you can get out for a hunt.

It would start a new movement... "I was pinned too". Not poking any fun at Any "Legitimate" Victims here.

I totally agree I can't wait to start again good luck in the future
