3 hour hunt today and my son found the 1917d wheatie and the big military button. I found all the fake jewelry and pulltabs. Thats how it goes sometimes. Not sure when military buttons are from, mabe ww1 ??

MIGHT BE WWI - THEY USED THAT STYLE IN WW II ALSO - BUT BECAUSE YOU FOUND 1917 WHEAT IN AREA - LEANING TOWARDS WW I

nice finds! found one exactly like the big eagle one my buddy the button guru says its world war 1.
 
Your button is a Great Seal Button that started use in 1902. They were used in both WW1 & WW11. You can tell by the different styles & backmarks which war they were used in.
