Here is a picture taken by one of my trail cameras last week . Coyotes are increasing in my area but I do not get many pictures of them . This one seems to be very long legged

whats the largest you have seen down there? We have had a few 75lb ones here I have seen weighed personally, and have heard stories of larger.

Where I am at 40 to 45 lbs is about average .I doubt we get many that make it to 60 lbs

At 75lb. that was more than likely some kind of dog/coyote/wolf hybrid. May not
have looked like it, but I'd bet the DNA would show it.

No question the NY coyotes are larger than the ones out West, and
their jaws are more squared off, but 75lb would be an absolute TOAD..

Biggest I ever got probably weighed in around 40 pounds, but a thick winter
coat can sure make 'em look much bigger.
