Sons first find today

Well, we got out about day break this morning for a COLD field hunt. At first I figured I would be posting a pile of flint chips on here....then my son found this. I know I have seen these on here before, but I am still very new at this and dont know what this called. Please help!

I'd call it a multipurpose tool. Knife / awl / spokeshave. Just my opinion, nice first find.
