Found this in central montana, no snow here yet! It’s a smooth black rock, is it naturally cool, or was it made cool? What do ya think? Thanks for lookin.

That looks unaturally worn to me , I'm guessing that was some kind of burnishing tool - it looks very smooth indeed ! Nice find ! You may want to post this over in the Native American artifact forum on this site .

Almost too small to be a tool made by the local Indigenous people, but you never know.
