I found the first one at 32-34 on the exterra 705. I knew that if there is one earring then the other was probably close by. I found it about 10" away from the first.

I found them both about three inches deep. The settings have no corrosion , so I am thinking silver.

Beautiful. I once scored silver earrings from the 40's, in the original box, buried 5" under the ground! That's my pair!
Great post!

I have found a couple of pair. Only one on the same day though. Buried in the sand on a beach in Florida.

Do they have to be valuable? If so, no! If not...

Heck yes I have a pair, but not in the world of earring. Cool find, I am glad to see you fianlly posted some finds. How's that 705 working for you?

Thanks for the replies. Loco, I haven't been able to get out much this year as I am working a lot and the weather still hasn't settled down here. One day nice, the next snow. I hope to be going full bore again by April. As far as the 705 is concerned I am liking it. It is a new language for me after having used Fishers. But I am catching on. With the Minelab I am seeing that the sounds are just as important as the target ID. When I found the earrings I was getting a solid 32-34. The sound was strong but with a kind of fuzz on the edge of the tone. That was telling me that the target wasn't circular.

:laughing7: @ the thread title

Nice finds, congrats.
