Had it all up in me to yank silver from the ground today...boy, that didn't go so well....barely scratched out a few wheats....but check this out. I found this lucky penny from the Royal Tailors, Chicago Ill....made these in 1901, originally had the Indian Head....no such luck today.

So, if that doesn't get you going, consider this.
I had never heard of a Nash vehicle, until I found this car emblem...looking at 1920's-30's with this. Might be worth a bit? More research will help.... Soon thereafter, I found this 2 in. Diameter disc....once I cleaned it up, I was fist-bumping the MD Gods, as the research proved to be AWESOME! Turns out, it is a Florida Motor Vehicle title... Made to attach to the wooden dashboard of the vehicle, kind of like the original VIN number....before there was such a thing. These are from the 1910's-20's. Did the Nash emblem and title belong together? I found them a few feet from each other, one can only imagine...image.webp
I got pics of other stuff I found, but it's mostly crap, I don't want to waste gigabytes.....

Very cool! I'd think anything Nash would be sought after.

Brings the song to mind, Little Nash Rambler.

Hey Dave. Nash were certainly some cool vehicles. Great finds. Isn't it incredible how much we can learn after we dig an item? Our hobby has a subtext of relearning our history according to what remains. Remarkable! Cheers

Cool digs Dave, do you display finds other than to decorate the Christmas tree, during the holidays?

Is anybody old enough to know about the Nash seat?

Good Job Dave. Hey, you might want to contact Mike on American Pickers. He goes nuts over the Nash stuff. Cool finds:thumbsup:

Congrats & fantastic finds!

Nice finds Dave. The Nash emblem is a very collectible piece. I also like the vehicle tag.

That would be cool...wonder how much it's worth?

Hey Sarge....in fact, yes! I just put up a post in the "my collections" forum....check it out!...
I am not computer literate enough to add a link.

Suppose I found a sweet coin, like a 1689 William and Mary Half Crown, for instance...my wife would be like "big deal".... The stuff that really gets her exited in the hobby is when I find "relics".... Oddball crap that time has forgotten. She would much rather me dig a piece of history, other than a silver coin.

:laughing7: sorry...couldn't resist.

I am old and remember the Nash seat. If you want to sell the emblem go to the AACA website and in their for sale section.
