South Carolina Button - Bucket lister!

Just got back from a trip to the South Carolina low country. Had a great time on a 3 hour hunt with a friend of mine. Had to hike through the thick woods about 1/4 mile. Hot and wet since it has just stopped raining. Got to a tabby ruin and powered up my XP. Started scanning in a 5 foot radius and got a good hit. Dug it up about 4 inches down. Looked like a nice button, but was covered in dirt, so decided to pocket it and clean later.

After the hunt, my buddy and I are comparing finds and I cleaned the button up a little and let him see it and he gave me this look. That look like, wow, do you realize what this is. What a great hunt, I have wanted to find one of these and this one is in great shape, although flattened a little. I don't know how many times it has happened where my first hole has been a great hit.

Hey Scrappy. Yeah, because you are right, I didn't find much else. But it is always the lure of finding more that keeps me there. First time at the site and those tabby ruins got me excited!
