south Fl Thunder

Will these storms every end in south Fl. I was real stupid, went to the beach,
a bolt of lightning hit about 50 yards off shore. The hair on my arms stood up.
I love detecting the beach and shallow water, but never again in this kind of weather.

Yeah, it's been pretty vicious over here in Tampa bay area also. I just want to get out of this pattern and get back to a regular summer pattern...Had a massive afternoon storm past thru yesterday and it's booming all around now...Maybe it will change soon.

That I why I try to go out first thing in the morning, also a bit cooler. Barring that having to dodge the showers like everyone else. Be safe
