Did a quick search of a favorite spot that gives up a ring 90% of the time and found this 18K band with an interesting marking of the Islamic Cresent Moon and Star next to the 18K mark.

Hey Al Pal, I was a Navy recruiter in Warren Mi about 20 years ago, my folks still live in the Metro Detroit area. I grew up down on the east side on Chalmers near the river, It was a beautiful place back in the 60's and 70's.
