I really liked this area sw of Fairplay near Weston Pass so went back to camp again. Nice camping spots west of the pay campground between the road and the creek, but be aware this is a very dry dusty road. Good thing is not much traffic so you don't wind up eatin that dust in camp. Although it's down below freezing, still a few wildflowers holdin out. Aspens are startin to turn. Nice sunrise over South Park this a.m.

Bayou Salado...I have the book packed away someplace here. A good read of that mysterious and historic area. The summer hunting grounds of tribes from all directions. Many a showdown between rival groups has taken place over the centuries in and around that place. Very beautiful pictures. Hope you had a quit visit.
