Southern Indiana newbie

Hey everyone! After tax time, I was planning on purchasing a entry-level MD to start out with. I had done a little looking on the net and had two that I want to run by you guys. I was looking at either the Fisher F2 or the Garret Ace 250. I'm up for searching for just about anything but would like to find some old coins (I know that's on everyone's list...). I just love being out there and possibly finding a piece of history, no matter how insignificant it is.
Any tips or suggestions would be much appreciated!

Hey, Dburch6! I'm sure with all the history from that county that it has been hit pretty hard but I'm sure there are still goodies to be found!

Oh yea I'm sure there are plenty of goodies left just got to run across them. A lot of the more historic places are off limits or 'hunted out' but I've found a few decent finds. Ive been traveling a little more this season
