Im new to this site and have just started metal detecting. Im from Mankato MN and plan to be hunting in Southern MN. Looking for people in the area that enjoy the same.

Hi Gary,
Im happy to see people on this site responding to posts, its refreshing. Sounds like you have been metal detecting for awhile and its nice to see your getting results. Just took my Ace 350 into the backyard today just to try it out. I was getting iron hits all over the place so went to the coin setting and things got much better. Got a couple of silver hits but when I tried to dig the I could only get about 3" down before hitting frozen ground. Oh well, I can get back to them anytime. Im happy with the way the 350 worked Im sure the 250 will be as good. I will plan on keeping in touch with you, maybe we can get out and check some locations together.
