Just a suggestion< Just mount it inside a back pack,that is what I did.

If you can use the one for the GT, it's already designed to be used on the shaft.

You can hang it from your neck on the stock bag or mount it to a chest harness, no need to have the weight on your detector shaft..

I have mine hanging from my neck and it works out well this way for me.
