What are the differences between the various Sovereign models and and what is the order oldest to most recent. Thanks for any info.

I've got a sovereign elite that was bought almost three years ago. Don't know where it fits into the scheme of things though.

Well in order I don't know i know that the first Sovereign that was put out was in the early 90's and all it said on it was ..........Minelab Sovereign BBS......... i have a picture of it here it is....It was my first sovereign....

SOVEREIGN

Sovereign XS

Sovereign XS 2 & Sovereign XS 2 Pro (Pro has the Meter.

Sovereign XS 2A

Sovereign Elite

Sovereign GT

Only one I'm not positive on is the Sovereign XS
the XS & XS 2 may be the same one.

Differences was mainly Toggles for turning Iron Mask on & Off & Toggle for
turning Tone ID On & Off on certain models. and Batteries

And i think the only 2 ...Sovereign's... with a switch to turn the iron mask on and off was the ...first Sovereign..and the ...Sovereign GT.. i liked the choice to turn it on and off as i need it....................... ==Jim==
