Sovereign Question on amps and dixie mods

I heard something about an amplifier that is hooked to a severeign. Supposedly it gives more depth. Does anyone know about this and if its Fact or bullcrap? Also what is with these Dixie mods I have heard about?

Where can I find information about the mods? Also does this amplifier really work? And the dixie mods, do they really work too?
