Hello Minelab swingers!

I hardly swing mine now that I can detect the water. But as for how long Minelab will support the GT, it is up to them. It can't be beat for saltwater beaches so long as you want some disc.

Thanks sandman. Yes I want some discrimination when hunting wet and dry sand. Like my SS for true water hunting on calmer days, but find myself mostly in shin deep or less on days the surfs up. May try a GT

Just received GT last night and only opened box to inspect components and pull battery out for charging. Now that's a well built machine! Very impressed with everything I saw. Will be carrying it through the ropes this morning when sun comes up!

I think I read somewhere that they will support for another 3-4 years. I guess some of it depends on how long extra parts last.

I am also very impressed with the build quality of the Minelabs. They will never be mistaken for a toy. They look like serious machines!
