Spanish Silver #10 fty

Spent this afternoon looking for new spots along the river. Tides have been running high so it makes things even more difficult but I did manage a few keepers. Found the toasty Buffalo and and toasty late 1700s half real at one spot and a toasted copper and clad dime at another. That was it on coins. Only decent relic was an ox knob at a third spot

For real. I wish I could find a minty early silver but it just usually doesnt work that way for me anyway. Ive found 6 milled reales now and all but one are pretty rough. Corroded by the water or ground, rolled around in the surf, run over on a cart path or by the plow, or just circulation wear. Take your pick.

1 Mass silver, 1 French silver, 10 Spanish, 10 seated, 1 Bust, 1 trime, gold dollar. My best year by far and I wont complain if I find nothing else till Spring

If you live in one of the original 13 colonies, then I would think Spanish silver will be found eventually. Just gotta find the right locations

I haven’t found 10 Spanish silvers in 16 years much less 10 in a year. You must have some great spots to hunt.

Thanks. I wish I could find some milled Spanish in better condition but finding all the awesome cobs made up for that.
