Stefen,.. In light of a resent post “Mans best friend , speaks” , I commented on my “loss” , which I should add , debatably was due ,... as I was straying a field ,.. More then once,.. But this is another story ........
Anyway , I read your comment “you know what a dog can do that you can’t “ ,well my mind immediately thought of this vary joke , and was going to post the last line “ I might just try to pet him first??”, but wasn’t sure if any would “get it” ,.. apparently there are a few “like-minded “ , down here ,... sad to say ...
I’ve also been a bit nervus to open or comment here , as “she" may catch sight of it , and I do fear for my other appendages that may fall from the “O’ chopping-block”, this is the first moment I’ve felt “safe” to respond here !
Anyway , this is a “classic” , I do believe I like the rendition of it as “Ole & Sven" best , but its all the same ‘O story , just a different “spice”.
