Spectrum XLT

I will be searching for a Platinum wedding ring tomorrow using a White's Spectrum XLT (older model)
I have never used this machine before nor have I ever hunted for anything Platinum..

Any advice you could give me would be GREAT!!

platinum ring find. I was ask to search for a wedding ring , so set my o'le XLT. first it set it on (JEWELRY/BEACH) , all i found was a merk.dime!! so then i set it on (COIN /JEWERLY) an then found the ring !! now to be honest the changing the program an the ground mineralization,add to the fact that that I did'ent cover the same ground, the exect same way twice !! an add a little LUCK ! i often wonder if the NEW WHITE'S are as good or better than there old XLT'S. i'm betting they are as good , but not much better . an mine was 900 bucks new !! good luck !! cya !!

id suggest 0 discrim ive heard platnium come in with lo vdi
