Spectum XLT beginner

Just started out and wondering if anyone out there has tips on XLT. Did get a CD with lots of programmes but unfortunately they fail to inform what mode the machine should be in (coin/Relic?) when applying the programmes. Looking forward to getting to grips as I have been informed that I have a good machine.

I just start with say a coin preset program then make the changes I want to it then save it to one of the custom programs. That way you'll always have it.
