Hi All,
Visited my sister at her farm in Kittery ME,
I try not to spend too much time searching, after all I'm there to visit
the finds i've gotten there make hunting irresistable. (1694 W&M Copper)
20 minutes around the entrance to her drive yielded my largest and most detailed cast pewter button, 28mm and a beautiful design.
got a pewter spoon bowl, a paper thin teaspoon, not marked,
reads 11-38 on the Etrac,
Calling card case, bit of decorative lead, 1930 Wheat, S&R 12 guage I thought might be rare, Sears & Robuck
& 1 old slug.
not bad for a 10X10 foot square.
BTW, I used the gas flame/cold water cleaning method on the formerly crusted wheat, seems a fast and effective method for cleaning up common coppers.

I realy like that pewter button not many found with disigns on them (purdy neat) only have 3 or 4.Keep at it spoonman.
