Crops are in and up and growing. Kids and I are doing a little bit of walking. Got lucky a few times. Thanks for looking.

Wow that looks like an awesome haul, variety, quantity, great material, and a few stories to tell, like that triangle looks like an impact fracture. That one even looks dalton-esque but I don’t think its quite right

Looks like fun and good finds. The last two colored point is real nice. Great that you're spending time with your kids as well.

Looks like a good field, just about all no til here this year. Good Finds

Wonderful finds! I’m so glad to see the kids involved. That activity is good exercise and combines hunting, fitness and education. That biggest one appears to have been scarred by a plow. I have some with similar markings from fields. Thanks for posting.

Thanks guys. That 1st point in the thread I found while planting apple trees in March. My 11 yr old Chris has turned into our identification "expert" and he thinks it might actually be a hardin. The base is snapped off from machinery but we can see where the shoulders are right there. The celt (adze?) does have some disc slashes across it! The 2 tone point also has a cut going clear across it visible on both sides. I wonder if it's from a disc blade and am now worried to even pick it up again. Bethany was the last to find something this year and today she got what we call a turtle back scraper. It may or may not be busted on 1 end, but it's knapped on both sides. She has a good eye, just hasn't been able to hunt much yet this yr. Lots of baton twirling.

I agree that Hardin is correct. Good call Chrisl

Got my laborers to help pick up rocks on a rental farm this morning. We picked up 2 heart breakers. Chris thinks this piece is the base of an agate basin, and he sketched how he visions it having looked. It measures 2.125" across and would've still been getting bigger. No basal grinding on it. Thoughts?

I was looking at all the rocks in the back and was hoping to see some divots but can’t tell. Might be some hammers in that pile

Very nice hunting!
Love the pictures.
That last one may have been a Celt or a broken flint axe? Maybe a biface preform that didn’t survive reduction.

nice finds

a good day in the field for memories
