Went down to Chaffee County today to get away from tourists. They got about 3 inches of snow last night with a few snow showers still goin on. We didn't hardly get anything, but more on the way Wednesday night, maybe.

Cool. I haven't been down there in quite a while now. I bet it was nice getting away from all the wave of front ranger devastation going on in summit county. Do you ever get a time it slows down in summit anymore?

As usual, great pics.

Quite a bit different from a spring day in Arkansas.

Mud season, or the shoulder season, is almost becoming a myth anymore. This month it's been the spring break folks. The Texas folks have all pretty much gone home. Right now it's lots of chilangos (what we call residents of Mexico City) and other latin America countries, cause they get a lot of time off for Easter. Some of these folks are very rich and have the attitude to go with it. Some are great folks to talk to, and most speak English pretty well. Still I get called to translate a whole lot, and I have to tell em to slow down that machine gun Spanish they use in D. F.
