Spring Mills State Park, Mitchell, Indiana

Had a family get-together at Spring Mills State Park over the weekend. While there, we took a boat tour of Twin Caves which was really nice. The guide (Wyatt) was very knowledgeable and pointed out many interesting features. I’d highly recommend checking out the caves if you’re able to go there. Trail #3 heading east and north from the parking lot near Twin Caves into Donaldson Woods has some phenomenal yellow poplars, oaks, and hickories.

Very nice park. I have not been in years.

They also have a Gus Grissom memorial there as well. For those into space exploration
