Greetings fellow treasure hunters. I'm a long time lurker and garage sale enthusiast. Although I can't compete with the great finds I've see posted here regularly, I do have the occasional interesting find.

I recently bought this oil on canvas painting at a garage sale. My thoughts are that someone commissioned an artist to do a portrait of their pet many years ago. The frame is also far nicer than what I usually find.

That's pretty cool. I would hang it up and enjoy it, but then again I have a pretty eccentric collection of stuff.

I'm glad someone else likes it as well. I think I'll keep it, as it's grown on me.
