Old mining town s.w. of Buena Vista. That washing machine was a pretty uptown thing to have in those days in that part of the country. When we were little I remember my sister got her arm caught in the wringer of one of those. Luckily it didn't flatten it out or hurt her much. (I was kinda secretly hopin though.)
