Found this the other day. It is a St. George and Dragon image on a lead slug of some kind. It says "depose" under the image. The reverse is blank. Any idea as of age or what it is? I found it along with some buttons and other things that appear to date from the 1890's - 1910's. I don't think this was ever a button or part of one as it's made of lead and has no shank or any sign of ever having one... what could it be? Thanks :D

This one was listed as a ring.
Unfortunately the auction seems to be old and I was unable to find anything more about it.

Just a thought but could it say deposo (Catalan Spanish). St George is very popular saint in Spain!

It seems like there is perhaps a line of wear on the back as though it had a pin fastened to it maybe? If so it may have been a lapel pin or tie tack. There's not a mark on the top of the rim as to have had an eyelet at the top, for use as a charm is there?
