Detector(s) used
Bounty Hunter Pioneer
Whites's Eagle II se (if I can make it work)
Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
Hi all. my friend got me started detecting with him. He would find, I would dig. as we were out one day we passed a yard sale that had a bounty hunter for sale for $5. So I got started using my own. Now I wanted to upgrade, so I took a chance and bought a used White's Eagle II se on an auction site. It didn't have anything for instructions. I put in batteries and it turned on. YEA!! Short lived enthusiasm. It goes through the set up with all the sounds everything seeming right. But when I tried to test it on finding metal....... no change in signal. I followed all the instructions on YouTube, but it didn't help. Now I'm stumped. Any suggestions??

Welcome Aboard! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forum: Select Your Area.... and selecting location information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country). You might also consider adding your state (or country) to your displayed profile (SETTINGS -> EDIT PROFILE) so if you ask a question, etc. - members may have more success helping you (your location may help etc.)...

Thanks for the info. I'm not real computer savvy and didn't realize there were other places to fill in. I'll try to get them filled in so everyone can see who and where! Thanks

Welcome! Happy hunting!
