I started off 2008 with $1247.00 in halves that I picked up last week & searched last night!

I had picked up $540.00 in halves from one bank & in those I found $100.00 of 2005P's, $100.00 of 2005D's, $50.00 in 2004P's & $50.00 in 2004D's. These are all in mint condition. I must have gotten a coin dealers dump or something. I also found the following;

15 40%er's
1 90%er

I'm going to keep track of the total amount of coins searched in for each denomination below in my signature so you all can see the amount of halves, quarters & nickels that have been searched.

Don't know what I'm going to do with all those 2004's & 5's wasn't figuring on keeping $300.00 in halves right off the bat in the new year! But they really are in brilliant uncirculated condition & I'm sure years down the road I'll be rewarded!

P.S. I'll be doing the halves, quarters, and nickels.........the wife (Luck Be a Lady) will be doing dimes and pennies and she'll post her own totals.

Re: Starting off 2008

Great start Seger. That is an amazing total of NIFC.....WOW! Good luck to you and Mrs. Seger in 08. Looking forward to seeing the results.

Happy New Year

Re: Starting off 2008

Just went through $1100.00 in quarters, and found a big fat nothing!

Seger,

Littleton Coins is selling those coins for $4.25ea for the 2005's and $6.50ea for the 2004's.

Call a couple of local dealers and see if they will buy a roll or two from you for their stock. They might even buy them all who knows.

Good Luck,

CLZinTX

Thanks for the link CLZ, I was able to find the price guide there, just had to hunt around a bit........I'll see if I can find someone who might want a few. There's a coin show here at the end of Feb. & that might be a place to take them.
