I was trying to figure out what to use to keep my Garrett Carrot and Hermit pick, or detector attached to me while hunting in streams, rivers and fields and also so as not to incoherently set it down and walk way increasing the expenses by having to replace stuff later. Being an avid kayaker, I already had a couple of paddle leashes and like old phone cords, they stretch out a good bit yet are quite strong. Some even come with Velcro bands and or quick clips. Average price is usually around $7-15. Better than $100's in losses later down the creek without a paddle.
