Until I can do otherwise, I'm kinda confined to my home. Actually, not even supposed to go out on a sunlit day, but that ain't gonna work for me.

Found this little fella near the front door. Spun its web from the stair railing to one of my wife's strawberry plants

This guy made a lot of noise, thought he was a bumble bee at first, but just a carpenter bee.

Dutch Iris -- had a bumper crop of them this year

The inside of this nasturtium looked like they were having a party. Just needed some lights and music . . .

We're seeing more honey bees this year. Always loved the delicate clover flowers we see around here:

Decided to buy an antenna for local channels. When I took down my "home built" model, this is what I found inside. Guess they had a bumper crop except for one "dud".

Just in case anyone here is ever offered treatment with drugs made from the Chinese "Happy Tree" -- you need to remember that the Chinese sometimes have a very weird sense of humor. Maybe in the long run you'll be happy, but the stuff is a beast while you're taking it.

Remember: Getting old isn't nearly as much fun as your grandparents said it would be.

Be well.

Beautiful photos Chateaux.

A boring day is only as boring as you let it be. Awesome photo's.

Second one's pretty cool. Honeysuckle?

Yes. Love the smell and the fact that it attracts honeybees. The bumble bees and carpenter bees I'm not to fond of, but since the carpenter bee doesn't sting I don't mind getting closer.

Our Day Lillies are blooming!
