Found this piece of riveted iron on a steamboat wreck in North Mississippi.
Is it part of a boiler? Some type of cargo box? I figure someone on this site could help me clarify what it is. The riveted piece is thick while the other portion of the plating is thin. I don't know what caused the holes. Maybe just thin iron? Any help would be appreciated.
