sterling box

i went to my local salvation army and they had a box for $4 and i bought it. I got home and i polished it and found out its sterling silver! Its weight is 4 oz. Is has some designs on it that are cool. cant post a pic, camera problems

Yes, it must be marked or it is probably not sterling. Some metals really polish out nicely and can fool ya.
