Sterling fork

Hello everybody.

Found my first sterling fork today. Was about 3 inches down- and when I pulled

​

it out it looked very shiny, so I immediately check for a mark on it and

​

was very happy to see STERLING.

Nice theres a few silver dimes in the that fork as far as weight Nice find

Hey there BandB1 out in Southwest Michigan nice looking fork with a nice looking pattern and in good shape, a little bending and it will be ready for dinner use. I was born in Detroit, spent time in Dearborn, Livonia and vacationed in the UP, camping and fishing. It was good to be a child back then in Mich. I'm not quite certain what Southwest Michigan looks like but I assume trees and grassy fields or is it all built up like the places I named above? I only started metal detecting once I got to California and its been enjoyable. Good Luck finding the rest of the 100 piece sterling set. Herb

63bkpkr- thanks for looking. I'm not far from Detroit, the woods and such are no where near as

rugged as up north, but its still very nice and Rural like around these parts.
