Sterling mark?

Got out for a while today and found a snake! A cute little sterling cobra. I sort of think it may have been a ring someone straightened out. I couldnt find anything on the markings on it. Any info would be appreciated.

I'm pretty sure the letters ing as shown are part of sterling - Nice .

It says Sterling and then that B with the A and R inside. Sorry for the crappy pics but its the best I can do with this silly I-phone !!
