Well found this fugly looking ring about 6 inches down and when I pulled it out it was oh so shiny... :laughing7: When I got it home, cleaned it up and took the glass to it lo and behold it says sterling on the little keeper. Too bad the other one wasn't nearby I could have a matched set to put on ebay. I'm assuming the green/blue thing on the front is fake as it has little tiny chips out of it. The odd thing is not finding the ear ring in the ground it was finding it with the keeper still on... I wonder how it fell off? :icon_scratch:

The ear rotted away...

Looks like turquoise stone to me

Looks like real turquoise stone to me as well. Does the back say anything other than 925 or sterling? As to the earring back, it is a mystery why, but I pull quite a few stud earrings out of the water that have the backs on too. Maybe large hole in the ear and it just pulls through. Don't know.

Missed his pocket, wups! ;)

HH!
