Sterling Silver Pin....... Any Ideas ??

However is not really old as it has STERLING marked on the back.

Can't help I did a quick search of caot of arms, didn't see a match, but very few have the "cross bar" an an angle ?

A bigger pic might help someone else though.

Looks very possible !!!!

The symbols all match but the top inside one ..which might just be from wear.

Now it just leaves what it came from.

The four original symbols for the Montreal crest were a beaver, thistle, rose, and shamrock. The crest lost the beaver in 1938, when a fleur de lys was substituted.

That's what it is, there was another found by a friend and I posted it for him. His had some of the enamel on it. Neat little pin. HH

YUP...found it in saltwater....not always kind to silver over time
