My girlfriends grandfather turns 94 tomorrow so we had a cook out at his house yesterday, after everyone started leaving I metal detected his house he had built back in the early 40's, I only hunted under the tree's because it was hot out but I think there will be some good finds there, he owns 3 lots total.

If anyone can give me any info about the spoon and tag I would appreciate it, I havent had time to do any research yet.

Nice finds but no help with the ID! HH, Mike

Rogers, Lunt & Bowlen, of Greenfield, Massachusetts, now is known by the name Lunt Silversmiths. The use of the trademark Treasure was used between 1921 and 1954.

Here's a link to a good site for ID American silver hallmarks: http://www.silvercollecting.com/silvermarksR.html

Great find Mike28, WTG!!!
Treasurekid, ya beat me to it... I think that was the easiest one I have ever found. ;D
Couldn't find anything on the tag though...
Good luck, & Happy hunting~

The spoon is 1918?

Hey, puppy, 'bout time you got off that four-wheeler and started detecting again! :D ;D :P

Nice finds. :)

Hiya, nice "Treasure"!!!
Congrats on the cool finds.

The tag appears to be a machine tag of some sorts.
Seybold Co would be the machine maker
or maybe the supplier of the parts made by the machine
and the company on the other side
would be the owner of the "capital equipment".

Smiles!
BDoo

thanks for the info guys!

Lisa - I love metal detecting way to much to give it up, just needed a break and another hobbie to take my mind off of it! ;D
