Claudia and I decided to head to Stewart Beach Sunday Nite to do some detecting. Since Claudia found that 1944 Wheat Penny she has a new eagerness to head to the Beach.
CLAUDIA SMOKED MY *## IN FINDS, as the pictures will show. She found her 1st Toy Car.
Dirt Journals Sandman needs to get back home, cause Claudia is finding items that is "HIS JOB" to find (see picture). I am definitely getting a workout in the water. The Waves and Current are really strong right now, which as far as exercise is a good thing, but makes detecting extremely hard. We didn't leave the beach till 10pm which means - We Had Fun Once Again!!!!

Interesting array of items there. Good to get out and hunt. Cool car :) Those juice containers and foil anything, can be a real hassle. Here's a tip for you. When you are in pinpointing mode (if your detector has one), the wider or larger the target, the less likely a coin obviously. Coins pinpoint smaller...as they should. As for me, I like to dig the larger pinpoints anyway, since it could be a jar or cache of coins. If you are short on time however, or, are having a problem with a LOT of larger foil items, try the technique above. It should help.
