...had my best find today with a 1916d wheat penny. Tried to take some pictures, but couldn't get any good ones that showed date and mint mark.

All in all, still having a blast.

I'm ordering my first detector tonight and this is definitely a cool find that encourages me! 1916 D mercury dimes are worth a lot so that is what I meant GL on that first silver!
