uhmmm cant find amphibians with the CTX connector, Am I missing something? Besides from looking at the chart, the UW´s and amphs are neck to neck, one a bit louder in one target, the other in another target , never the less, still quieter than the rest lol

From the numbers on the chart they appear nearly identical but maybe others who have tried them both can comment. The GGA do not have a CTX connector you need to buy them and do a mod for it to work. The GGU do come with CTX connector.

GGUW have a volume limiter in them, there are not as loud as the GGA.....

Correct. You would have to make the splice yourself and put on a Minelab connector. Amphibians are for the Garrett series only.

Apparently that can be taken out. I don't know which mod is easier the CCUW or GGA. I would imagine the UW are louder with the mod since they are nearly the same otherwise according to OBNs chart. He can probably shed light on the topic though since he has tested both and has done the mod for both...
