Took some time to walk the stream bank on a friend's farm this morning. It's a location I have found some large cents and colonial buttons in the past. Noticed this round stone in the water. I'm not sure what it could be, it's not metallic and doesn't appear to be clay or ceramic. I placed a quarter in the pic for size reference. I have been told that points have been found in the area. Appreciate any feedback on what it could be.

Many people use them as meditation and stress relief stones
 

As Alan said, it is a sandstone concretion.
 

Could have fooled me. I wondered whether it was the top to a crude chamberpot!
