Stone Geofact or Artifact?

Hello,

I have had this stone for about 20 years. Found it at a construction site of a school remodel in upstate NY, right by Lake Ontario.

I think its just a really weird shaped stone, but I have zero experience in artifact or stone identification.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
